Moore & Fairhall at Wakefield Jazz

Moore & Fairhall are a Manchester-based accor­di­on and violin duo, play­ing Indian ragas, Amer­ic­an folk and jazz from all eras. Olivia com­bines an interest in jazz and folk musics from around the world with an intens­ive study of Indian clas­sic­al music. Adam is best-known as pian­ist in Nat Birchall’s Col­trane-inspired ensembles, but has been devel­op­ing a range of innov­at­ive tech­niques on the accor­di­on. They met as par­ti­cipants on the pres­ti­gi­ous Ser­i­ous Take Five jazz devel­op­ment scheme.
